As a Business Development Manager, your role is to identify and develop new strategic customers from global industrial companies to local manufacturers and product development companies. Your task is to understand the customer’s need and offer relevant services from our portfolio including product design support, manufacturing of electrical assembly of products, modules and cable harnesses and logistic solutions.
You are an enthusiastic sales person with business awareness who enjoy all parts of the sales process. You are a team player and able to talk to people at all levels. You work proactively and you drive independently towards our common goals.
We believe this is part of your background:
- Strong customer focus
- Good knowledge about sales processes and production environment
- 10 years of experience in relevant areas
- Fluent in both English and either Swedish, Norwegian or Danish
We see it as positive if you have experience from product development, supply chain or manufacturing.
You will report to VP Sales & Business Development and can be based either at our office in Malmö or at your own home office.

2020 turned out quite differently than we all expected. While managing the challenges we have kept focus on delivering good value. This year, PanLink will make two Christmas donations. One to the local hospital in Tczew, Poland, for their efforts in providing good COVID healthcare. What attracted you in working at PanLink?
“It was a mixture of two components: people, who are working at Panlink, whom I used to know professionally when working for Delphi. These are the first class specialists, very proficient in everyday business activities. Secondly is the fact the company has international background, enabling me to use English and German, especially with our customers.”
What do you want to achieve?
“I will not make any empty promises. First I have to gather the data, get to know Panlink in different business areas. Then we will decide what the priorities are, how to proceed and establish a plan. For sure I will be aiming at introducing the core tools from the IATF such as MSA or SPC.”

Instead of PanLink’s annual company picnic, the decision has been taken to transfer money from the Company Social Benefits Funds to be used for co-financing of employees’ expenses for Easter and other types of social activities.
